How Do I Know If I Need Help?
You don’t have to wait until you break to ask for support.
So many women wait until things feel unbearable before reaching out. We convince ourselves that we “should be fine,” that others have it worse, or that needing help means we’re failing.
But here’s the truth: asking for help is not a sign of weakness it’s a sign of awareness. It means you’ve noticed that something doesn’t feel right and you’re ready to take care of yourself differently.
Signs you might need extra support
Sometimes, it’s not obvious that you’re struggling especially if you’re high-functioning, responsible, or the one who “has it all together.”
If you notice yourself in any of these, it might be time to reach out:
You feel constantly anxious, tense, or exhausted even when nothing “big” is happening.
You overthink everything and can’t turn your brain off.
You’ve lost interest in things that used to bring you joy.
You feel emotionally numb or easily overwhelmed.
You say “yes” when you mean “no,” and it’s leaving you drained.
You feel disconnected from yourself, your body, or the people you love.
You don’t have to check every box to deserve help. One sign is enough.
Therapy, coaching, or both?
Therapy and coaching can both help — they just serve different needs.
If you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, or your emotions feel too heavy to carry alone, therapy can help you process and heal what’s underneath.
If you’re doing okay but want to grow, set boundaries, or make changes in your life or business, coaching can give you the structure and accountability you need to move forward.
Whichever you choose, the goal is the same: to reconnect you with yourself.
Taking the first step
It’s completely normal to feel nervous before reaching out. You might wonder what to say or if your problems are “big enough.” Let me reassure you — there’s no right or wrong way to begin.
You deserve support simply because you’re human.
If you’re reading this and something inside of you whispers maybe I do need help, trust that voice. It’s the part of you that’s ready for relief, rest, and change.
